Golconda Fort

If experiencing history is on the agenda, there’s no better way than paying a visit to the Golconda Fort. A majestic fortress standing tall on the outskirts of Hyderabad, it was built and expanded around the 12th and 16th Century by various Qutub Shahi rulers. Witness the 400-year-old history, experience the Nawabi culture first-hand, or experience the unique acoustics.

Nehru Zoological Gardens

Escape the concrete jungle and make your way to the Nehru zoological park. Home to over 1,000 species of birds, mammals and aquatic life in habitats that resemble the natural one, the 380-acre zoo is a must-visit. There is even a Lion Safari for avid wildlife fans.

Salar Jung Museum

For those who love to go back in time, the Salar Jung Museum, which is the third-largest in India, presents the perfect opportunity to take a peek at the past. Stroll through more than 30 galleries that house a collection of ancient manuscripts, ceramics, metallic artefacts, carpets, sculptures, textiles, paintings and clocks from India, Persia, Syria and Egypt.

Located within close proximity of the IT Hub in Hyderabad, the convention centre is easily accessible by public transportation. If you are arriving from out of state, below are some tips that can be of help.

By Air

The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is located in Shamshabad, 23 km from the convention centre and will take approximately 30 minutes to cover by car.

Quite a few airlines operate a schedule of flights connecting the city with regional and international destinations. The major airlines are Emirates Airlines, British Airlines, Air France, Lufthansa Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Indigo Airlines, Air India, Jet Airways, SpiceJet Airlines, among others.

A string of Easy or Meru taxis are readily available outside the arrival building. You can alternatively use apps such as Ola or Uber to hire a cab or hop on to an AC bus.

By Train

Hyderabad is served with extensive connectivity to and from major cities and other parts of India via three stations located at varying distances from The Address.

Secunderabad Railway Station (a 44-minute car ride across an 18 km distance)

Hyderabad Railway Station (a 40-minute ride across a 16 km distance)

Kachiguda Railway Station (a 54-minute car ride across a 21 km distance)

By Car

The city is easily accessible from other major cities via the National Highway.

The journey from Bangalore to Hyderabad, along the NH7, is around 552 kilometres.

If you’re heading out from Chennai, a 652 kilometres drive through the NH9 or NH5 will get you to Hyderabad.

Mumbai is slightly further away with a 700 kilometres ride through the NH9 and the expressway.

Visitors are welcome to use our on-site car parking facility which can accommodate 800+ cars.

By Bus

Hyderabad is serviced by several buses via its extensive public transport network as it is connected to the rest of the states by National Highways. It is home to the largest bus station facility in all of Asia via the Imlibun/ Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station.
